"A little about me... I can land a back flip on a 4" wide balance beam, but I'll probably trip walking up to it. So I like to think it all evens out somehow. Clumsy or not, I've spent my life being active and enjoying fitness. I was a competitive gymnast for 15 years, a cheerleader, a member of the dance team, soccer team, and swim team. I'm a KU grad and now work as an account executive at an ad agency here in KC. I love my job. It challenges my brain and I get to work in a creative environment. It also moves fast and can be really sporadic. Yoga is my retreat, a way to get my blood flowing and get that glow back into my cheeks after a hard day.
I always knew in the back of my mind that I would love yoga. When I finally made it to my first class 8 years ago, I was hooked. In yoga you use your own body as resistance for building muscle and improving flexibility. Yoga can also provide spiritual, healing benefits and can help provide a deep respect and love for your body and mind."
