"Whether a runner, cyclist, weight lifter or just an avid walker, the muscles in our bodies tend to become so tight that just the thought of touching your toes sounds impossible. Back in the days when I was running nearly every day I thought a couple of stretches was good enough and now looking back I realize how much I was taking my body for granted.
Our bodies need to be stretched in every possible way so that a simple forward bend isn’t torture. Yoga is a energizing system rather than an exercise system. This class will challenge you and push your body to a level you never thought it could go. This class is a time for your mind and body to connect and really deepen your awareness within. This is a non-competitive class that is for all levels because yoga is about you and your body and becoming better at your own practice not your neighbors.
The class incorporates a series of flow movements, flexibility poses and core strength routines that leave you feeling stronger and more balanced. I promise you will break a sweat but by the end you will feel energized and relaxed."
