mugshot of sara hill, scott fitness personal trainer "Once upon a time I hit a low point in my life when all I looked forward to was lunch and dinner. To make matters worse, part of the benefits at my work included a free all-you-can-eat lunch buffet. Needless to say I gained weight. I remember a number of visits to the store where I grew upset that clothing manufacturers were making the clothes so much smaller. I was in denial. I can remember times that I would try to start exercising, but I felt like it was fruitless. I didn't realize that I wasn't exercising frequently enough or consistently enough to see results. I made the mistake of thinking I was a lost cause and that exercise wouldn't serve me.

Several years later I found myself working in the corporate world. As my job became more stressful and busy, I started losing weight. For several months I was losing one to two pounds per week because I had no appetite. I was worrying myself to death. I had chest pains all the time that would wake me up in the middle of the night. It all came to a head when I had a stress test on my heart, and it showed that my heart wasn't getting enough oxygen. I quit the job for the sake of my health and sanity. Most of the weight that I lost came back (which was a good thing at the time). I knew that I had to start taking better care of myself, though. Nine months later I started working at a gym, and it changed my life. I started working out consistently doing cardio and resistance training, and the weight started coming off. I have lost at least 30 pounds through diet and exercise.
