"My name is Ty Thomas. Thank you for looking through my window.
You know … not much has changed since Olivia Newton John sang the words "let's get physical" in the early 80s. Well, maybe leotards and leg warmers have left the scene … but not much else. The bottom line is that it is still about physical activity. In this time of fast food and super sizes, we must get active.
"When Ty said that he needed me to write up a testimonial for him I did not hesitate. He knows how long winded I am, so he asked if I would keep it S.& S. The short and sweet of the matter is that we met eight years ago. I was trying to get ready for my 20th high school reunion. I had six months and I was looking to lose 30lbs. Right out of the blocks, he was on me like a drill instructor. I started to see results in three weeks and significant results in six. Long story short, it was all good when I met up with old friends from high school."

While I am new to Scott Fitness, I am not new to the world of fitness. I have been involved with one health club or another over the past 15 years. I received my ACE certification in 1994, which I consider still to be one of the best things I could have ever done for myself. People are great to work with, and there is never anything wrong with making new friends.
One of the many things I have learned over the years is that sometimes you can't always say what your clients want to hear. There are no magic pills (Alli - Hydroxy Cut - Metabolife - etc). There is absolutely no substitute for exercise. The fun part for my clients is the journey. What you (the potential client) will be doing will be a challenge. You will probably have people telling you that you can't do it. I will be saying that you can. And you will. Everyone needs a little direction … once in a while. That's what I'm here for. I will be walking with you. You WILL start to feel better, sleep better and look better. No matter what your fitness level is, you have to start some place … so why not here and now.
We will design a program that you will be able to do relatively easily, so your body will have time to adjust to the new movements. Results are what we are after, so there will be some extra desire needed from you to do a few things when you are away from the club.
I use the word CLUB because you will be part of a club. Not everybody can be in this club. Great things happen here, and you are invited. So let's go forward. If you want to ask me anything in detail, I am more than happy to hear from you."
~ Thank you sincerely: T.T.

"When I first met this guy, I myself was in the market for a Gym and a Personal Trainer. He was really easy to talk with and by the end of our chat, I said to myself, "This guy is my new Personal Trainer." Before we parted, Thomas said something so plain and simple that I still remember it to this day. He said, "Rog, wether you enroll with me today or not, it does not matter. Just as long as you enroll some place and get yourself started."

"Mr. Thomas and I met through a mutual friend. I had just gotten onto the KCMO Fire Department. I figured I could still use a little help in some areas of my body. While we do have equipment at the station, it feels good to get away and work out. I decided that I would hire a personal trainer. He gave me my first session for free and from what I hear people don't do that. I like the fact that he does not look at his watch. When we finish is when we finish. I like that. He is very energetic and he makes it fun. (If there is such a thing being that you are getting a burn.) Anyway, he is quite good at what he do. He will sing for you if you are good."
